Gender: Male
Age: 17
Music: Mumford and Sons, Biffy Clyro
After doing 3 detailed profiles into female research I thought it would be a good idea to get an insight into males to see if I want my magazine to focus on a specific sex or both. Therefore I asked him to same questions as the girls, just see if his responses were similar or totally different.
1) What music magazines do you normally read?
Not a fan of music magazines I would say I would be them on the very rare occasion but not every week or anything. Not really a fan of magazines.
2) What music genre would you like the read about and why?
I like a mixture of everything it doesn't really bother me just something interesting and eye catching.
3) What do you look for on a front page?
I look at image and the features that are inside the article as I want to know what I am going to read about before I buy the magazine. Furthermore I also look at the colours as it's the first thing I will see when I glance over at the front cover of a magazine.

4) What would make you buy a music magazine?
The image has to be cool and interesting I don't just want a boy or girl standing their posing like it's some sort of fashion shoot I like something different. I like the articles as well I don't like them to be boring and the usual "when is your next album out" I want to learn something from them and interesting fact! Something that only that magazine will know. Most importantly to me is the price, I hate anything being expensive and certainly would not waste my money on a music magazine if it's expensive.

5) What images would you like to see in a music magazine?
Like I said before something interesting and a bit different, I want to look and it and think "wow and I need to get this as the image is so great." I like long shots if I'm honest as I like the background and to have a look at the surroundings.

6) Personally, what is your favorite name out of Fresh,
Instant and Trend?
I like instant as it's catchy and relates to a specific genre of music.

7) What sort of articles do you like to read in a magazine
and why?
I like to read interviews that ask unique questions that you didn't know about, like personal. I also enjoy reading things about concerts and interesting facts about other artists and what they are doing in the music world. Love a bit of a funny story as well, things that have ended in a disaster but in a funny way.

8) What type of artist would you like to read about?
I like bands if I am honest, but in general I like ones that don't follow the crowd and create a new style. They need to be hip with a catchy name. The name of the artists is key!
